Home of the Waynesborough And Southern Piedmont Railroad
The Waynesborough Model Railroad Club has been located in historic downtown Goldsboro, North Carolina since 1982. One of the largest Ho scale layouts in Eastern North Carolina, We provide both individual and family memberships.  Many of our members are native Goldsboro residents but we have many members stationed at nearby Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.  As a result, our layout has the advantage of being able to accurately represent many different geographic regions and different prototypes.  Some of our modules and equipment are owned by the club but most of the equipment is owned by the individual members.

Waynesborough Model Railroad Club occupies the entire second floor of a vintage downtown building and has ample area for personal storage, workspace for members, and room for future layout growth.  Our group meets each Tuesday night at 7:30 PM.  Members gather then to run trains, share camaraderie, and work on their individual projects.  Each 3rd Tuesday of each monthis reserved as a business meeting.  The club provides on-sitepresentation during the year, using its separate modular (traveling) railroad layout within the community.   We are often found running our traveling layout at community festivals, church functions, and other celebrations.  Our members often travel together to attend local and regional trainshows throughout the year.

Our clubhouse is locatedat 103 North James Street and has a 72'x18' HO scale walk-around layout.  The layout is currently having some modules updated by members and is being expanded to allow additional modules for new members.
